My 5 Favorite Things About Being a Mom to Kamea
Through out the twelve years of being a mom, you tend to learn a lot about yourself and who you are as a parent. My daughter has taught me so much! She is a very special person and will always be in my heart. I’m in awe that she has grown so much that in my mind it was only yesterday she was born. Where did the time fly?
One of my favorite things I love about being a mom to Kamea is that she has taught me that no matter how many mistakes I make, she will always love me! That girl has a heart so full of love for me and everyone she meets.
Another favorite thing about being Kamea’s Mom is the moments when she comes up to me for no reason and wraps her arms around me and says,” I love you mom!”.
My third favorite thing about being Kamea’s Mom is when I am doing my respite work with my favorite little man Jake. She will, out of the kindness of her heart, come and help me entertain him. Kamea has a heart for those with special needs and she makes sure they feel her love.
Another favorite thing about being Kamea’s Mom is that I never have to ask her more then once to do her chores. She can also see when Im stressing out and when I’m busy. Without me asking, she will go and do her chores (and even extra chores ) so I don’t have to stress out about having to do them later.
My fifth favorite thing about being Kamea’s Mom is all her beauty. Now I know that sounds superficial but when I say Kamea’s beauty, I’m not talking about just her outer beauty. I’m talking about her inner beauty as well. She is a kind, compassionate, caring and good-hearted individual. I am beyond proud of my little girl. Well ,she would have given me a look when I say,” little”. She’s growing into a beautiful young lady and she knows it. One thing I keep telling her is that although you are beautiful on the outside, people will not see it if you make others feel bad or are unkind to others. It’s ok to have self confidence and feel beautiful, but you need to be modest with your beauty.
