If there isn’t a fall birthday to be had, host a backyard party anyway! You can set the scene with little red wagons and farm animal photos on a fence. Then invite your guests to wear bandanas or straw hats. Decorate the tables with sunflower center pieces, along with checker board table cloths and other neat things.

Family Activity #3: Play Countrified Games

Playing games at a party is a must! Here is a fun suggestion. There are some great games like Pig Races. For Pig Races, you blow up some pink balloons, draw pig faces on them with a marker and tie a curled pink ribbon onto each tied part. Divide your guests into two teams and give each player a flyswatter to swat them from “the field” back to “the pig pen.” The team who gets all the ‘’pigs’’ to the finish first, wins.

Family Activity #4: Pick apples at a local orchard

Happy little children, cute toddler girl and adorable funny baby boy, brother and sister, playing together in a beautiful fruit garden eating apples having fun on a wheel barrow ride enjoying a warm autumn day outdoors

What a great fall time activity! When all is said and done, you can then make some tasty apple treats afterwards.
