At Christmas gatherings, there is usually some kids. So how do you keep them entertained? How do you keep them busy? Well there are several different ways to do this very thing.

Have Some Age Appropriate Games Ready

Normally there are a different range of ages. So, make sure you have age appropriate games like: Pin the tail on the reindeer, mystery stocking etc.

Have a Craft Table Ready

Let the glitter fly! Make some homemade play dough, have crayons and coloring books ready, (markers may end up marking other places). Child safe scissors are great to have too!

Make Mini Bakers Out of Them

If you have a mother’s helper or relative that can supervise, have the kids be little bakers. It’s a really fun way to keep them entertained and involved. Choose something that requires decorating with icing and sprinkles because that’s the part they love most.

Set aside an hour for tree decorating

Pull out the non-breakable Christmas ornaments and let the kids decorate the tree. Even better, have them make their own decorations with paper, stickers and glitter glue. Use a hole punch and ribbon to hang them on the tree.

Create a Kids Movie Room

Opt for a kid-friendly holiday movie time. Unlike a brand-new movie, you know they really like those classics. Make popcorn and have them pretend they’re in a real movie theater.

Let them be loud

Holiday karaoke is always a good time for the kids ages 8 to 15. Just make sure they’re the entertainment for the party or that you have sound proof walls!

Send them on a scavenger hunt

Make clues and list the objects they need to find before the party, so when your guests arrive, the kids can go on and have an adventure around the house. Consider giving them some prizes that can keep them entertained long after the hunt is over.
